Principles of Ecosystem

Ecosystem comprise of a  living community where the plants and animals live together with non -living organisms of the environment i.e., air, water, soil, land, climate, landforms etc.,

Ecosystem is nothing but the study of Ecology [Study of home of living organisms].

Environments are mind boggling dynamic frameworks. They play out specific activities.

They are as follows,

The flow of energy i.e., energy flow in the food chain

Nutrient / Supplement cycling i.e., Bio-geochemical cycles

Biological progression or environment improvement

Homeostasis or Feedback control components

Lakes, meadows, knolls, marshlands, fields, deserts, ponds, grasslands and forest areas are instances of the Natural ecosystem.

A large number of you have seen an aquarium; a nursery or a yard and so forth around there. These are a man-made environment.

Classification of Ecosystem :-

Ecosystem are delegated as follows,

(a) Natural ecosystem

(b) Manmade ecosystem
